AF&V Estates provides housing solutions for the Armed Forces, Veterans and their Dependants. This includes affordable and social housing options.
The purpose of the organisation is to encourage AF&V clients into properties of their own, suitable rental accommodation or social housing coupled with on-site employment support.
In addition, AF&V Estates offers the Armed Forces & Veterans Privilege Card which is a pre-paid electronic money product from MasterCard that encourages responsible spending. It provides electronic banking facilities for those without bank accounts and offers significant cash back of up to 10% of your total spend.

AF&V Launchpad – Newcastle’ is a charitable enterprise offering accommodation and employment support for Veterans of all ages and their partners in the centre of Newcastle. The scheme launches on 01 August 2013.
There are a total of 34 one bedroom, fully self-contained apartments with on-site support from a specialist employment consultant from the Regular Forces Employment Association (RFEA), an advisor from the Welfare & Benefits Agency and a case worker from the Royal British Legion.
The development has a wide range of communal facilities that include a landscaped private garden with BBQ facilities, fully resourced IT & Training Suite, recreation and lounge area including TV, DVD, games consoles, pool table and table tennis, free Wi-Fi and Broadband and much more.
A wide spectrum of training and education opportunities will be delivered on-site or by training providers in the Newcastle and wider North East area.
Residents and their partners can stay at the facility for up to two years after which they will be provided with further assistance if required to move on to other suitable accommodation.
The facility has 3 specially adapted apartments for wheelchair users.
