What is the CTP Assist portal?
The CTP Assist portal advertises a
wide range of vocational opportunities, which are sourced by the CTP Employer Engagement
Team from a wide range of partner organisations, charities and employers. The
aim of these opportunities is to aid you in your transition from life in the
military to a civilian career.
We have opportunities across most industry sectors, spanning the whole of the UK. As well as the specific opportunities advertised on the portal, many of our partners are also able to provide additional opportunities, so make sure you also take a look at the list of partners to find out more about what they can offer.
If what you are looking for isn’t currently on the site, get in touch. We are able to generate requests to deliver bespoke opportunities in line with your IRP. So if you have identified a partner but they don’t have the specific opportunity you’re looking for, or if you are interested in a particular organisation and they are not listed as a partner, then please get in touch as we may be able to approach them on your behalf.

How do you get the best out of the CTP Assist portal?
Under your profile section there is a dedicated place for you to upload your IRP and CV to the site.
By adding your skills, experience, desired locations and desired industry you will be able to match your preferences with the opportunities on offer. Any ‘matches’ will be sent directly to your email inbox. To get the best out of the matching service, you should try to make your criteria as specific as possible – it is better to be notified of a few suitable opportunities than a 100 opportunities that are not right for you.
